Puncture Repairs

Flat tyres are frustrating, ask us about a puncture repair nowA puncture is one of a driver’s most frustrating experiences. Especially as it’s often discovered just when we want to go somewhere. Flat tyres mostly occur when a nail, screw or glass splinter pierces the tyre casing. The air escapes, and the tyre deflates

The good news is, if it occurs within the tread area the puncture can be repaired quickly and easily.

Tyreright offers walk-in puncture repairs – no appointment is needed.

Our staff will inspect the puncture and advise whether it can be repaired, or if the tyre will need to be replaced.

If repair is possible, we’ll make it our priority to get your tyre patched and get you on your way as quickly as possible.

To fix the puncture, we deflate the tyre and take it off the rim. We insert a plug from inside the tyre through the puncture to make it airtight. This normally takes about 30 minutes. The repaired tyre is then fitted on the rim, and a wheel balance is done before we place it back onto your car.

Unfortunately, not all punctures are created equal some can’t be repaired, for example, punctures in the sidewall. If that’s the case, our team will advise you on the best options available to help resolve your problem.
