Don't forget your car tyres have needs too!

We all forget things from time to time. Thankfully these are usually trivial matters that turn out to be no more than casual annoyances, like leaving washing on the line on rainy days.
But there are some things that can have more serious consequences when you forget to do them.
That is the case with caring for your car tyres.
While you may think there is nothing your tyres can't handle and they always seem to be in great condition, failing to properly maintain and look after them could cause you problems down the line.
It is important to check and adjust the pressure in your tyres at least once a month.
Under or overinflated tyres can affect the handling of your vehicle and will also wear prematurely, significantly reducing their active lives.
Tread wear and overall condition
You wouldn't know it by looking at them, but the tread on your tyres wears down each time you drive your car.
Without realising it, your tread could be getting dangerously low, putting you in danger each time you venture out on the roads.
The legal limit is 1.6 mm, but you should start planning to replace tyres once tread gets down to 3 mm and actually replace them at the 2 mm mark.
So don't forget to check your tyres regularly!
